done with stage 1...now movin on
i jus graduated highschool two days ago, and i must say it was amazing. The fact that im done with one stage and moving on to another is pretty cool. But, at the same time i know ill miss everyone. The best thing about it all is i start my new stage with higher self-esteem and a better smile. its june 26, exactly 16 days till my next ortho appointment, hopefully when he tells me when my surgery will be. i cant wait to see the end results from surgery, its gonna be a long bumpy ride tho, but im in for it =)

one year and a month since braces came on
So its been bout a year and one month since i started this journey...and with much anticipation surgery should be taken place in early august. good right? sort of, Ive been lookin foward to this for some time but at the same times its like....omgish am i really gonna go thru with this? i guess when you list the pros and cons the pros out number the cons. But surgery isnt just anythin its serious..-_- but no matter what happens i will go through with it, and hopefully this will increase my self-esteem..
im pretty new to this blogging thing. lol but not new to the braces and surgery. Ive underwent a quortaqatamee (pretty sure its spelt wrong but hey ive never been a good speller). The docs pretty much drilled wholes in my teeth...in hopes of creating pressure and help bring my molars down. Was it successful...NO but it left me looking like a chipmunk for about a week, on the good side it got me excused from speech class.
In 2007, i was told i would need jaw surgery but at that time i wasn't really at ease with what the docs told me. i think what got me was when dr.neugarten said i would have to have my jaw broken and then put back into place. My only fear was i wont be able to talk or sing anymore -_- but 3 years later i regret not doing anythn and going thru with the surgery...but hey now is better then never. =) so here is where i embark the journey and this time no such thing as backin down.
